Position Summary
Luxury Bath Remodeling of San Diego / American Bathroom Remodelers is looking for an experienced Bathroom Remodeling Installer with strong residential construction and remodeling skills.
We are looking for someone who's an experienced remodeler who understands how the different parts of a bathroom project come together—from demolition and prep through plumbing, waterproofing, installation, tile, flooring, drywall, carpentry, and final finish work.
You should be able to assess a project before work begins, identify potential problems, determine what needs to be done, and complete clean, professional work from start to finish.
For the right candidate, this position may also often include leading Installer Assistants and taking responsibility for projects as the Lead Installer.
What You’ll Do:
• Complete residential bathroom remodeling projects from demolition through final cleanup
• Perform demolition, framing, installation, repairs, and finish work
• Inspect the project area before installation and identify potential plumbing, electrical, structural, measurement, or design issues
• Install showers, tubs, vanities, cabinets, fixtures, hardware, and accessories
• Install and repair tile, including shower walls and bathroom floors
• Install and repair flooring, including tile and LVP
• Install, patch, repair, and finish drywall
• Perform bathroom plumbing work, including faucets, shower valves, drains, toilets, and fixtures
• Complete framing, trim, molding, cabinet installation, and finish carpentry
• Properly prepare and waterproof showers and other wet areas
• Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during remodeling projects
• Read and follow measurements, work orders, drawings, installation specifications, and manufacturer instructions
• Ensure work meets company quality standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the project
• Take required project photos and complete job documentation
• Communicate material needs, jobsite issues, and project updates to the Production Manager
• Lead, train, and support Installer Assistants when assigned
• Properly maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Follow company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices
•• These responsibilities are consistent with the company’s existing Lead Installer expectations, including project leadership, documentation, customer communication, material coordination, crew training, and safety compliance.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in bathroom remodeling and multiple residential construction trades, such as:
• Bathroom remodeling
• Tile installation
• Flooring
• Drywall installation and repair
• Plumbing and fixture installation
• Shower and tub installation
• Waterproofing
• Framing
• Finish carpentry
• Cabinets and vanities
• Trim and molding
• Demolition
• Residential remodeling and repair
•• Strong experience across several of these areas is preferred.
Qualifications:
• Several years of residential remodeling, construction, or installation experience
• Hands-on bathroom remodeling experience required
• Experience working across multiple construction trades strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify jobsite issues before they become larger problems
• Ability to produce clean, professional, high-quality finish work
• Ability to measure accurately and follow plans, drawings, specifications, and installation instructions
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard remodeling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Professional communication skills with homeowners and coworkers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Crew lead, foreman, or other leadership experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to report to the warehouse or designated jobsite, including a vehicle capable of safely transporting tools and job materials as required.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for work-related communication, job photos, documentation, and mobile applications
Physical Requirements:
• This is a hands-on construction position. Candidates must be able to perform the physical duties normally associated with residential remodeling, including standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, working in confined areas, using ladders and tools, and moving construction materials.
• Ability to lift or position materials and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds

• Bathroom remodeling experience is important. Strong experience in tile, flooring, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, waterproofing, and other residential remodeling trades is highly valued.
