Local San Diego Christmas & Permanent Lighting Company Hiring 4 Installers
We are a local, established Christmas and permanent lighting installation company that has been serving San Diego County for 18 years. We are looking for 4 reliable, hardworking installers to join our team for the upcoming Christmas lighting season.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, working with their hands, and wants to make excellent money during the holiday season.
š° PAY
Installer:
$27.50/hour to start
$30/hour after 90 days
Lead Installer Opportunity:
$32.50/hour to start
$40/hour after 90 days
Lead positions are available for the right candidates based on experience, leadership ability, safety, reliability, and performance.
Ideally, lead installers will have their own truck, ladders, and basic installation equipment/materials.

TRAINING & START DATE
There will be two days of training:
October 3rd
October 10th
Work begins October 17th.
The Christmas season will run through approximately February 1st.
There will also be approximately a 2-week break over Christmas and New Year's.
Permanent lighting work may also be available throughout the year when projects are scheduled.
ā° SCHEDULE
This is NOT a traditional full-time job.
During the busy Christmas season, installers can expect:
Approximately 4 hours of work on select days during the week
Approximately 8-10 hours per day on weekends
Schedules may change depending on weather, customer schedules, project needs, and workload
Because installation schedules can change, applicants must have some flexibility with their schedules and be willing to adjust when necessary.

We are looking for people who:
Are reliable and show up on time
Are in reasonably good physical condition
Can lift 75ā100 lbs
Are comfortable working on roofs
Can work outdoors in various weather conditions
Can work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality
Have reliable transportation to our warehouse
Are willing to work long days during busy periods
Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team
Take pride in doing clean, professional work
ā EXPERIENCE THAT IS A PLUS
Previous experience is helpful, but not required for the right person.
Experience in any of the following is a major plus:
Christmas light installation
Roofing
Gutter installation
Construction
Exterior home improvement
Ladder work
Electrical/low-voltage work
Permanent lighting installation
š TRAINING & EVALUATION
Our training will teach you our installation process and safety procedures.
During training, we will evaluate candidates on things such as:
Safely walking and working on a roof
Proper ladder setup and breakdown
Safe handling of equipment
Ability to understand and follow the installation process
Attention to detail
Ability to work safely and efficiently with a crew
Permanent lighting training will be provided and will continue throughout the season and beyond.
š LEAD INSTALLERS
We are especially interested in candidates who have previous installation or construction experience and may be capable of taking on a leadership role.
Lead installers will be responsible for helping manage installation crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, communicating with the office, and making sure jobs are completed efficiently.
Candidates with their own truck, ladders, and installation equipment are strongly preferred for lead positions.
š LOCATION
San Diego County
Applicants must have reliable transportation to our warehouse and be able to travel to customer properties throughout San Diego County.
