Montesacro SF is hiring a Kitchen Manager to join our team!
Montesacro is part of Mint Group SF. We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead daily back-of-house operations. This role reports directly to our Culinary Director and is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their kitchen leadership experience within our restaurant group.
Compensation: $25–$29/hour
Experience: 3–5 years minimum
Pizza Prep/Oven Experience: Minimum 3 years
Pizza and Bread/Baking Experience: Required
Lead and support daily back-of-house operations
Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff
Maintain food quality, consistency, presentation, and portion standards
Ensure food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards are followed
Work hands-on with prep, line execution, and service as needed
Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, and waste control
Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen
Manage opening and closing procedures
Support scheduling, staffing, and labor management
Communicate operational, staffing, and maintenance needs to the Culinary Director
Work closely with FOH management to ensure smooth and efficient service
What We’re Looking For
Previous kitchen leadership or management experience
Strong knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations and food safety
Hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to train, motivate, and hold a BOH team accountable
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
California Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
Schedule & Availability
Approximately 5-4 shifts per week
Availability required: Weekends
Must be available to work weekends/evenings/holidays.
