We are a busy Single-Family Operations division looking to partner with experienced, reliable, and high-capacity Tile Installation Subcontractors. This contract is for fast-paced, new home development projects across Southern California. Because our production schedules move quickly, we require production-minded subcontractors who are highly proficient in floor tile installation, shower systems, backsplashes, mud float wall applications, large-format tile, and porcelain panel installations. Qualified crews must also have extensive experience with modern waterproofing systems, including Schluter, WEDI, HydroBlok, and DenShield products. Core Responsibilities:
• Install floor tile, shower walls, tub surrounds, and kitchen backsplashes in new construction homes.
• Perform traditional mud float wall installations to company and industry standards.
• Install large-format tile and porcelain panels with proper handling, preparation, and installation techniques.
• Install waterproofing systems including Schluter, WEDI, HydroBlok, DenShield, and other approved assemblies per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain quality control standards in a high-volume production environment.
• Coordinate closely with Field Managers and Superintendents to meet scheduled completion dates.
Requirements:
• Service Area: Ability to cover projects across Riverside, Orange County, and San Diego County (and other areas as needed).
• Experience: Proven track record in production home building, tract housing, or high-volume residential developments.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of floor tile installation, mud float systems, porcelain panels, waterproofing systems, and shower construction.
• Production Capacity: Ability to maintain builder schedules and handle multiple homes simultaneously.
• Tools & Transport: Must have your own reliable commercial vehicle, professional tile installation tools, specialty equipment for large-format tile/panels, and PPE.
• Credentials: Active C-54 license/business license, general liability insurance, and Workers' Compensation coverage.
