Self Reliance ILS is looking for caring, dependable, and motivated individuals to provide support and training to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
What You'll Do As an ILS/SLS Instructor, you will support individuals in developing everyday skills and becoming more independent. Responsibilities may include:
-Grocery shopping and errands
-Meal planning and preparation
-Light housekeeping
-Support with medical needs and appointments
-Community outings and activities
-Developing independent living skills
-Transportation within the community
-Supporting personal goals and daily routines
-Encouraging independence, confidence, and self-reliance
Requirements
-Must be 18 years or older
-Experience is a plus, but not required
-Valid driver's license
-Current auto insurance
-Reliable personal vehicle
-TB clearance
-DOJ/background clearance
-CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification within one month of hire
-Must be dependable, responsible, patient, and self-motivated
-Must enjoy working with and supporting others
