We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer specializing in Loading and Unloading operations to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate materials handling equipment.
Assist with order picking activities utilizing RF scanners and manual handling techniques to ensure accurate inventory fulfillment.
Operate heavy equipment responsibly.
Manage inventory by accurately recording incoming and outgoing items, supporting shipping and receiving processes.
Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting to move materials within the warehouse efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow.
Assist in inventory management tasks, including stock counts and material handling equipment operation.
Support shipping documentation processes, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for shipments.
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles.
Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely.
Familiarity with warehouse software systems including RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking.
Experience with manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing warehouse operations is advantageous but not required.
