Our newly constructed luxury senior living community is seeking an experienced Building Engineer Assistant to help maintain the high standards of our beautiful new community. If you have experience as a Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Assistant in senior living, a hotel, resort or similar large-scale property, your skills can be a great fit.
You’ll respond to electronic work orders, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and work throughout the community while interacting regularly with residents. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, responds with urgency, and works thoroughly with strong attention to detail—while bringing the patience, professionalism and hospitality needed when working in residents’ homes.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Building Engineer with preventative and routine maintenance as assigned including basic plumbing repairs, dry wall repairs, painting and general upkeep of the community and grounds
Maintain upkeep of common areas, ensure exterior sidewalks are free of debris, and assist with trash removal as needed
Complete the apartment make ready process in an efficient and detail oriented manner
Support resident needs by completing assigned maintenance work order tasks, assist with internal moves as needed
Assist with special event set up and clean up as needed
Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in apartment, senior living, hotel or comparable setting
Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Ability to work assigned shift which may include early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
