Summer Intern - Corporate & Fixed Cost FP&A
Location: Columbus, OH (Vertiv Corporate Headquarters)

About the Role
We're looking for a motivated, curious, and people-oriented intern to join our Corporate Finance team for the summer. This role sits at the intersection of two high-visibility functions - Fixed Cost FP&A and Corporate FP&A - giving you broad exposure to how a global public company plans, measures, and communicates financial performance.
You'll work alongside experienced finance professionals who will invest in your development while giving you real ownership of meaningful work. If you're someone who gets energized by solving problems, learning new tools, and collaborating across teams, this is the internship for you.
What You'll Do
Corporate FP&A Support
Contribute to the monthly and quarterly results consolidation process
Help build and refine materials for Executive Leadership reviews
Support preparation of Board of Directors presentations and quarterly earnings decks
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and data requests from senior leadership
Fixed Cost FP&A Support
Assist with planning, budgeting, and forecasting for corporate functions including IT, Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing, and General & Administrative
Support total company Compensation & Benefits (C&B) analysis and reporting
Help prepare variance analyses and identify cost trends across functional areas
Partner with functional budget owners to gather inputs and validate assumptions

What We're Looking For
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) and PowerPoint (building clear, executive-ready presentations)
Technologically curious - you enjoy exploring new tools, automating tasks, and finding smarter ways to work
Positive attitude - you bring energy and optimism to the team, even when tackling complex or ambiguous challenges
Enjoys working with people - you thrive in collaborative environments and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
