We are looking for an experienced and reliable Diesel Mechanic / Technician to help maintain and repair our fleet of commercial box trucks.
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time – 2 days per week
Approximately 8-hour shifts
$300 per day
Days and hours are flexible and negotiable
Great opportunity for a mechanic looking for steady side work or additional weekly income
Our Fleet:
Primarily Hino and Freightliner box trucks, including medium-duty commercial diesel trucks.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel truck issues
Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot check-engine lights and other mechanical/electrical problems
Use a scan/diagnostic tool to identify problems
Identify and order the correct parts needed for repairs
Keep track of repairs and maintenance needed on the fleet
Help keep trucks safe, reliable, and ready for daily operation
Requirements:
Experience working on diesel/commercial trucks
Experience with Hino and Freightliner trucks strongly preferred
Must have your own tools
Must have access to a scan/diagnostic tool
Must have your own reliable vehicle/transportation
Must know how to source and order parts
Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
What We Provide:
$300/day
