L.A. Italian Kitchen is looking for friendly, outgoing and dependable Guest Service / Front Counter Team Members to join our team at The Outlets at Orange.
Our greatest need is for people who can work daytime and lunch shifts.
If you have reliable daytime availability, a great personality and strong customer-service skills, we are prepared to pay more for the right person.
PAY
$18.00–$24.00 PER HOUR
Starting pay is based on experience, reliability, customer-service ability and availability.
Higher starting rates are available for candidates who can consistently work daytime and lunch shifts and who have strong restaurant, retail, hospitality or customer-service experience.
Daytime availability is especially valuable to us.

THIS IS MORE THAN TAKING ORDERS
As a Guest Service / Front Counter Team Member, you will:
Welcome every guest with a smile and friendly greeting
Take orders accurately
Learn our pizza, pasta, salads, sides and beverages
Help guests select menu items
Recommend beverages, sides and other menu offerings
Process customer payments
Keep the counter and dining areas clean and inviting
Make sure orders are delivered accurately
Check on guests and help resolve simple concerns
Restock supplies
Support your teammates when needed
Take ownership of your assigned area
We want people who understand that every guest matters.
A friendly greeting, clean restaurant, accurate order and genuine “thank you” can turn a first-time visitor into a regular customer.
DAY SHIFTS ARE OUR PRIORITY
We are especially hiring for:
Morning shifts • Lunch shifts • Midday shifts • Part-time daytime schedules
Evening and weekend hours may also be available, but our primary hiring need is daytime coverage.
If you are looking for reliable part-time work during the day, we would like to meet you.
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in any of the following is helpful:
Restaurants • Coffee shops • Retail • Hotels • Hospitality • Customer Service
We are also willing to train the right person who has a great attitude, strong work ethic and natural ability with people.
Candidates with strong daytime availability and previous customer-service experience may qualify for the higher end of our pay range.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
Be dependable and punctual
Be comfortable working directly with the public
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Be able to perform the normal physical duties of a restaurant position
Have a valid food-handler certification or be willing to obtain one
Don't currently have your food-handler card? We will help you through the process of obtaining the required certification.
