Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but not required depending on the position
Responsible and able to work independently
Responsibilities May Include:
Assisting with daily activities
Personal care and hygiene assistance
Meal preparation

Medication reminders
Companionship and social support
Transportation or errands, if applicable
Caregiver Registration & Hiring Process
To become a caregiver, there are a few basic requirements and steps to complete:
HCA Registry: Caregivers must be registered with the Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry, California’s state monitoring system. An initial background check is required as part of the registration process.
TB Test: A TB test is required. If you already have a TB test completed within the past 4 years, we can honor your existing test, subject to applicable requirements.
CPR Certification: CPR certification is required and can be completed online through an accepted certification provider.
We will guide you through the process and help you understand what is needed to get started.
