Work You'll Do
As a Senior Consultant, Controllership, you will provide critical analytical, programmatic, and financial management support throughout the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the formulation, justification, presentation, and defense of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and the Budget Estimate Submission (BES) for the client's POM. In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategic operational requirements and fiscal realities, ensuring that program funding aligns with overarching defense capabilities and mission objectives.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience with the PPBE process, especially Planning, Programming and appropriation @types
Active Secret security clearance required
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires professionals to co-locate in person 3 - 4 days per week
Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
CPA, CGFM, or CDFM preferred
Prior consulting experience with DoW or federal clients

This compensation range is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.A reasonable estimate of the current range is$113,000 to $188,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
