Job Description:
Office Clerk - Print Production Operation
Location:Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role supports print shop operations, focusing on reliability,
professionalism, and attention to detail. The position involves
operating digital production and finishing devices to meet client
specifications, assisting with quality reviews, and interacting with
associates and partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong
customer service skills, take initiative, and make timely decisions
based on production data.
Key Responsibilities
Independently operate digital production and finishing devices,
including Ricoh Graphics Pro 7210 units, Titan Cutter 230, Morgana
digifold Pro, and C.P. Bourg Stitcher/Folder/Trimmer units.
Ensure operational readiness and safety according to manufacturer
guidelines, performing daily and periodic scheduled maintenance.
Make mechanical adjustments to achieve optimal equipment capacity.
Independently monitor quality for color consistency, paper position,
and registration, making corrective adjustments as needed.
Review marketing collateral and other printed materials for quality
and accuracy.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Respond to client inquiries with speed, accuracy, and
professionalism.
Complete projects within established time and budget parameters.
Required Qualifications
Education:High School Degree or GED.
Experience:This is an entry-level position that requires some
professional work experience. Candidates should possess strong customer
service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adapt
to established processes.
Technical Skills:Microsoft Office experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in print shop operations.
Previous experience in FedEx, post office, or mailroom environments.
Previous office administration or office manager experience.
