# Bilingual Assistant / Jr. Estimator – Drywall & Painting
**Location:** Chino, CA
**Job Type:** Full-Time, In-Office
**Hours:** Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
**Pay:** $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are a drywall and painting contractor seeking a **Bilingual Assistant / Jr. Estimator** to work directly with our Estimator and assist with the bidding and estimating process.
This is an **in-office position in Chino, California and is not a remote position.**
### Responsibilities
* Assist the Estimator throughout the bidding process
* Review construction plans, blueprints, drawings and specifications
* Assist with drywall and painting takeoffs and estimates
* Help organize bid information and project documentation
* Review and update material pricing
* Enter estimating and project information into spreadsheets
* Track project communications, revisions and documentation
* Communicate professionally with builders, vendors, suppliers and field personnel
* Maintain organized electronic and project files
* Assist with other estimating-related duties as needed
### Qualifications
* **Bilingual English/Spanish required**
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working with numbers and basic mathematical calculations
* Proficient with computers and Microsoft Excel
* Ability or willingness to learn how to read construction plans and blueprints
* Dependable and able to meet deadlines
* Previous construction, drywall, painting or estimating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
### Compensation
**$18.00–$22.00 per hour**, depending on experience.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in **Chino, CA**. Applicants must have reliable transportation to the office.
