City Safe Security Consultants is looking for reliable, professional Unarmed Security Guards to join our growing team. We have multiple locations throughout San Diego and are looking for dependable guards who can provide a professional security presence while maintaining excellent customer service.
PAY
Starting pay: $20–$27/hour, depending on experience, qualifications, assignment, and availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor entrances, exits, lines, and assigned areas
Maintain orderly lines and keep sidewalks/driveways clear
Identify and professionally address intoxicated or disruptive individuals
Conduct bag checks when required by the assignment
Monitor for prohibited items, alcohol, drugs, or potential weapons
Watch for fights, unsafe behavior, or other security concerns
Monitor rear exits and restricted areas when assigned
Communicate with management and other security personnel
Complete basic incident reports when necessary
Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented presence
REQUIREMENTS
Valid California BSIS Guard Card preferred
Applicants willing to obtain their Guard Card may also apply
Reliable transportation
Reliable and punctual
Professional appearance and communication
Ability to remain standing and alert during shifts
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Bilingual is a plus
Security, hospitality, nightclub, event, or customer-service experience is a plus
HOURS
Most shifts are during evening/night hours, generally between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM, depending on the assignment. Additional security assignments may become available.
TRAINING OPPORTUNITY

City Safe provides Security Guard Licensing & Training with BSIS Certified Instructors. Qualified applicants who are a good fit for our team can receive information about completing the required training.
