# Full-Time Laundry Attendant

**$19/hour + tips | 41.5 hours per week | Morning Shift**
**IMMEDIATE HIRE | SATURDAY & SUNDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED**
Pacific Beach Laundry Co. is looking for a reliable, friendly, hardworking person to join our team as a full-time Laundry Attendant.
We're a locally owned, newly renovated laundromat in the heart of Pacific Beach with brand-new equipment, Wash & Fold service, Pickup & Delivery, and a strong focus on providing an exceptionally clean and welcoming experience for our customers.
This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping people, and taking pride in their work.
## Schedule & Pay
**$19/hour + tips**
**Sunday:** 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
**Monday:** 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
**Tuesday:** 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
**Wednesday:** 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
**Thursday:** 6:00 AM – 12:30 PM
**Friday:** Off
**Saturday:** 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
**Total: 41.5 hours per week**
Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
Reliable, on-time attendance is extremely important. This position is responsible for opening the laundromat, so we're looking for someone we can count on to arrive on time and be ready to start the day.
## What You'll Do
• Open the laundromat and prepare the store for the day
• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Help customers with washers, dryers, laundry cards, and our app
• Process Wash & Fold orders from start to finish
• Wash, dry, fold, package, and organize customer laundry with care
• Receive and prepare Pickup & Delivery orders
• Keep machines, folding tables, floors, and customer areas exceptionally clean
• Complete daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Accurately enter and manage orders in our POS system
• Keep customer orders organized and separated
• Answer customer questions and resolve basic issues
• Make sure every customer has a great experience
## We're Looking for Someone Who Is
• Extremely reliable and punctual
• Available to work both Saturday and Sunday
• Has reliable transportation and can consistently arrive for a 6:00 AM shift
• Friendly and comfortable talking with customers
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work independently
• Comfortable using apps, tablets, and a POS system
• Able to multitask and stay productive throughout the shift
• Willing to clean and take pride in keeping the laundromat spotless
• Comfortable being on their feet throughout the shift
• Able to lift and move laundry bags and baskets
• Positive, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever needed
Laundry, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but we're happy to train the right person.
More than anything, we're looking for someone who **cares about customers, notices what needs to be done, and takes ownership of their work.**
