✅ DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
Hiring Wheelchair Van Drivers & Sedan Drivers
NEMT experience preferred
Must be 23 years or older
Valid California Driver’s License
Clean driving record and background required
Must pass a drug test, physical exam, and background check
CPR/First Aid/AED – Certified Candidates Are Preferred
Comfortable using a smartphone and GPS
Wheelchair drivers must be able to assist passengers and safely secure manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, and mobility scooters
🚐 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide door-through-door transportation
Greet passengers professionally and assist with boarding, seat belts, and mobility aids
Safely transport clients to medical appointments and other scheduled locations
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
Maintain a clean and stocked company vehicle
Communicate with dispatch throughout the shift
Represent the company with professionalism, respect, and care
🚨 BIG PLUS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE:
San Diego MTS Sheriff License
—or the ability to obtain one quickly.
