We are looking for an After-School Driver and STEM Teaching Assistant!
We require a minimum 9 years of driving experience.
This is a part-time position with very regular afternoon hours.
Knowledge of Chinese Language and Chinese Martial Arts are NOT required! (But if you enjoy physical activity and/or Asian language and culture, this is the job for you :)
The JING Kids Chinese After-School Program trains children in the mental, physical, emotional, and linguistic skills needed to succeed in a global market and in an interconnected world. But to do that, first we need someone to drive them from their elementary schools to our After-School Program.
Hours:
- 5 days / week.
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are 2-6pm;
- Thursdays 11:15am-4:15pm;
- other occasional "minimum days" for Scripps Ranch schools will also begin at 11:15am.

Requirements:
- Current driver's license and clean driving record
- Can work the specified hours.
- Reliable cell phone
- Clean Background Check (to be completed by JING HR)
- Clean TB test
This Teaching Assistant & Driver position at JING entails:
- teaching or assisting in STEM, arts & crafts, and/or PE classes (training is provided);
- gathering children after school and walking them to the JING van;
- driving the students in the JING van from school to JING;
- supervising children during their snack- and free-play-time;
- helping with light cleaning and other duties at JING.
Knowledge of Chinese Language and Chinese Martial Arts are NOT required!
