Licensed Plumber Needed – Part-Time / Contract Work – San Diego
Established San Diego general contractor is looking for a licensed plumber for ongoing part-time contract work on commercial and projects throughout the San Diego area.
This is not a full-time position. We are looking to establish a reliable, long-term relationship with an experienced plumber who is available for projects and service work as needed.
Requirements
Must hold a current California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license.
Minimum 5 years of professional plumbing experience
Commercial plumbing is a must.
Experience with repairs, installations, remodels and tenant improvements
Able to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems
Familiar with California plumbing codes and inspection requirements
Must have own tools and transportation
Must carry appropriate insurance for contract work
Dependable, professional and able to communicate clearly
Must keep jobsites clean and complete work to a professional standard
Type of Work
Work may include:
Commercial tenant improvements
Plumbing repairs and service
Water and drain line installation/repair
Fixture installation and replacement
Water heaters
Rough and finish plumbing
Troubleshooting existing plumbing systems
Code corrections and inspection-related work
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time / contract / project-based work.
Schedule will vary depending on current projects. This could develop into a consistent source of ongoing work for the right plumber.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience, scope of work and licensing/insurance qualifications.
