*Live-In Caregiver Opportunity – Hilton Head Island, South Carolina*
Looking for a fresh start, stable housing, and meaningful work?
We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable, and attentive live-in caregiver to join a private in-home ALS care team in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. This is a hands-on caregiving role in a private home where you’ll receive full training and become part of a close-knit, supportive team. No prior caregiving experience is required.
*The Environment*
You will be one of two live-in caregivers, each with your own private bedroom and bathroom in a spacious 4,000-square-foot home.
Living and working together creates a unique environment. We genuinely enjoy working as a team while also respecting each other’s personal space. Everyone here is pursuing their own goals, whether that’s school, building a career, or working on personal projects. Outside of shifts, the house is generally quiet, with people relaxing in their own spaces. During the day we usually have music playing, and from time to time we enjoy having friends over for a casual evening.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
Caregiving
* Assisting with daily personal care
* Transfers and mobility assistance
* Bathing and dressing
* Feeding through a feeding tube
* Tracheostomy and ventilator care (full training provided)
* Toileting and hygiene assistance
* Other day-to-day caregiving responsibilities
Administrative & Household Support
* Helping manage calendars and medical appointments
* Tracking supplies and household organization
* Assisting with adaptive technology and wheelchair adjustments
* Helping with various household projects
* Social media, photography, or video editing experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
* $4,000 per month
* Private furnished bedroom and bathroom
* All utilities included
* Approximately 50 hours per week, allowing for plenty of personal time
* No commute, just walk downstairs for your shift
* No car required, making it easy to save on transportation expenses
