Yard Goat Driver – Riverside, CA
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday & Monday | 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
3-Day Workweek | 12-Hour Shifts
First Step Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Yard Goat Driver for an opportunity in the Riverside area.
This position is responsible for safely moving and positioning trailers throughout the yard and ensuring trailers are available at dock doors for efficient shipping and receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely move trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and designated yard locations using a yard truck/terminal tractor.
Properly position and align trailers for loading and unloading.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
Report mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
Complete yard checks and maintain accurate records of trailer movements.
Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
Assist with material handling, forklift operation, or other warehouse duties during downtime as needed.

5:00 PM–5:00 AM
Training: The first week of training will take place during the day shift, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Pay
$22.00–$24.00 per hour
