Responsibilities:
• Assist block masons on commercial masonry projects
• Mix and prepare mortar and grout
• Load, unload, carry, and stage CMU block and masonry materials
• Keep masons supplied with block, mortar, grout, tools, and materials
• Set up and maintain work areas for block masons
• Assist with scaffolding setup and breakdown as needed
• Perform cleanup and material removal
• Use basic masonry tools and equipment safely
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Work efficiently to support mason productivity and project schedules
Requirements:
• Previous block tender or masonry tender experience required
• Familiarity with CMU block, mortar, grout, and masonry materials
• Experience working around block masons and commercial masonry crews preferred
• Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy block and materials throughout the workday
• Comfortable working on scaffolding
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the San Bernardino and Los Angeles
• area
• Must be dependable, hardworking, and show up on time
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a masonry crew
• Basic masonry tools preferred
