Demolition Contractor looking for an experienced demolition laborer for both residential and
commercial demolition and construction clean-up projects throughout Orange County, Inland Empire and surrounding areas.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
* MINIMUM 2+ years of experience in the residential and/or commercial DEMOLITION INDUSTRY.
* Be able to communicate clearly in both speaking and written communications with management. (English)
* Knowledge of how to use hand tools and power tools properly and safely.
* Ability and agility to work from heights, such as ladders, scaffolding, boom and scissor lifts, balconies, and roofs.
* Familiar working around fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems, and knowledge of how to shut down a system.
* Must know how to turn off electrical breakers and water/gas valves when needed.
* Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to jobsites throughout southern California. (Mostly Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties)
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
* Safety Oriented and knowledge of proper use of PPE.
* Be able to follow directions, be a team player, and be on time.
* Able to handle hard work and the weather. ( Hot weather )
Certifications are a plus but not necessary.
OSHA 10/30, First Aid, ACM/PB awareness certs preferred.
Position is day shifts with occasional overtime and Saturdays.
THIS IS NOT A CASH DAILY JOB! W-2 employees only.
WE ARE NOT HIRING EQUIPMENT OPERATORS!
THIS A HAND WRECKING POSITION.
Must have reliable transportation.
Clean driving record/license preferred.
$18-$23 hr. DOE
**Currently this position is Part-Time as needed.. Stellar/optimal employees get more hours and incentives, including room for advancement for the right candidate.
