What we are looking for: Calibration Technician
Job Description:
● Perform routine, precision calibration and maintenance on medical devices to meet manufacturer and industry standards. ● Diagnose equipment faults and perform necessary repairs to ensure devices operate safely and accurately. ● Document all test results, calibration procedures, and maintenance in accordance with regulatory standards. ● Adhere to safety regulations, including electrical safety, and maintain records for compliance with standards. ● Compare instrument readings against verifi ed, high-accuracy standards. Other Important soft skills: ● Fluent in English ● About 2-3 days per week. Customer’s site calibration in Carlsbad. ● Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, troubleshooting ability, and familiarity with calibration software and tools. ● Comfortable in reading technical manuals and articles related to the job ● Precision is critical; even minor discrepancies in medical device calibration can impact patient safety. ● Work in hospitals, clinics, manufacturing facilities, or for third-party service providers. ● Comfortable interacting with clients and technicians at customer sites. ● Since this is a small company, often you need to wear different hats (i.e. work and cover many rolls) ● Have reliable transportation / car. What we offer: ● Flexibility in working hours ● 1099 pay / hourly - pay bi-weekly ● Paid training ● A relaxed offi ce environment with a fl exible schedule. ● $25-$30 / hr on 1099 - based on experience.
