Now Hiring: Drafter/Field Measurer dedicated to maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship to join our team.
Essential Functions:
-Visit job sites to gather data needed to complete projects.
-Accurately measure to create templates for slab countertops to ensure a precise fit.
-Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software and digital equipment to create full-scale and detailed designs.
-Assist with material layout.
-Manage and maintain digital files and software systems to ensure all essential data is readily available for project support.
-Effectively communicate with clients, project managers, production foreman, and installation manager to ensure job specifications are met.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience in carpentry or stone templating.
-Knowledge of installation process for slab countertops.
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
-Experience with Laser Templating Systems (LT-2D3D and/or Proliner).
-Experience preparing detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation use.
-Ability to create, read, and interpret technical drawings. Experience reading blueprints/schematics, etc..
-Ability to create and/or modify templates and/or drawings for fabrication.
-Capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining focus in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
-Able to maintain workflow schedules to ensure production objectives and project deadlines are met.
-Basic mathematical, analytical and tape measurement skills.
-Strong and effective communication skills with the ability to work well with people at various levels.
-Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
-Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
-Computer proficient using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications.
-Ability to work in teams and independently, managing time effectively.
-Dependable with a strong work ethic.
-Team player, positive, enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.
-Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and out of town when needed.
Salary and Benefits Package:
