Pay Rate: $17.75/hr. + tips

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barback to join our team. The Barback will be responsible for supporting the bartenders during high volume service, providing outstanding service to our guests, being a team player in operations and venue cleanliness outside of the bar, and contributing to the lively atmosphere of our venue. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about live music and community, enjoy supporting their teammates, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a high volume position.
Responsibilities:
Keep bar stations stocked with beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, and other service supplies
Empty trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift
Assist with opening and closing bar duties
Communicate low-stock items, equipment issues, and operational concerns to the Bar Manager/Venue Manager
Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu and drink offerings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue and bar, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces
Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption, adhering to responsible serving practices and ensuring a safe environment for all patrons
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a barback in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a music venue or similar establishment
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and craft beers
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests of all backgrounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Honest and trustworthy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Professional, timely, positive, fun, and commitment to hospitality
Must be 21+ years of age
Must have a valid RBS number
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be on their feet for shifts of 4-8 hours
Must be available evenings, Wednesday-Sunday, and holidays as required
