Seafood Restaurant – Barrio Logan, San Diego
We are looking for a DishWasher to join our team at a seafood restaurant located in Barrio Logan.
Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize tableware: Receive, sort, and wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Maintain the dish station: Operate the dishwasher efficiently while adhering to proper sanitation standards, temperature controls, and chemical safety guidelines.
Keep the kitchen clean and organized: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized dishwashing area and assist in keeping common kitchen spaces tidy.
Proper waste management: Empty trash cans, handle food waste disposal, and recycle properly according to health and safety standards.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment: Work quickly and systematically to maintain a continuous flow of clean cookware and utensils for the kitchen and dining room staff during peak hours.
Assist with general kitchen duties: Help with basic prep work, unloading deliveries, organizing food storage areas, or providing general support to the culinary team as needed.
Requirements:
Prior Experience: Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but willingness and attitude to learn on the job are essential.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry heavy items (up to 30–50 lbs).
Teamwork Skills: Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate effectively with cooks, servers, and management.
Attention to Detail & Speed: Focus on cleanliness, sanitation, and maintaining high hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Chemical & Safety Standards: Capacity to follow instructions for the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.

Responsabilidades:
Experiencia previa: Deseable pero no indispensable; disponibilidad y actitud para aprender en el puesto.
Resistencia física: Capacidad para estar de pie durante períodos prolongados, agacharse y levantar objetos pesados (hasta 15–20 kg / 30–50 lbs).
Capacidad de trabajo en equipo: Buenas habilidades de comunicación e iniciativa para colaborar con cocineros y personal de servicio.
Atención al detalle y rapidez: Enfocado en la limpieza, desinfección y mantenimiento de altos estándares de higiene en un entorno acelerado.
Flexibilidad de horario: Disponibilidad para trabajar en turnos rotativos, tardes, fines de semana y días festivos.
