Journeyman Plumber Qualifications & Compensation
Position: Journeyman Plumber – Residential & Commercial Service & Repair
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of plumbing experience in residential and commercial service and repair
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems including water, waste, vent, and gas systems
Ability to install, diagnose, and repair both tank and tankless water heaters
Skilled in the installation and repair of faucets, toilets, tub/shower valves, and general plumbing fixtures
Experience operating and troubleshooting drain cleaning equipment including:
Drain machines
Cart jetting equipment
Large hydro jetting equipment
Ability to perform leak locating and diagnostics
Experience operating sewer cameras to locate and identify drain and sewer issues
Ability to read and understand isometric drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage daily tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
Compensation
Annual compensation: $90,000 – $130,000, depending on experience, skill level, certifications, and performance
