This position formulates value-added products in a controlled manufacturing environment. This position will also execute validation studies, executes test protocols, evaluates processes and procedures, and inspects and tests equipment. May conduct training on formulations, methods and procedures. This position will work with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Supply Chain within the company, and when needed, with customers and suppliers on quality related issues.
Responsible for oversight of the formulation of infused products, the area within the lab products are formulated and the overall formulation processes. Reports directly to the Processing Lead.

The Formulation Technician is primarily responsible for the order, cleanliness, and efficiency of formulation operations by performing labor work duties, including derivative product handling, formulation processes and facilities maintenance.
- Implementation and deployment of formulation of the infused products operations and processes within the processing facility.
- Responsible for maintaining the quality of formulated product during processing;
- Assures all processing procedures are executed in compliance with law, regulation, administrative rules, policy and procedures;
- Responsible for adhering to standard operating procedures;
- Efficiently washes formulation processing equipment and supplies for reuse;
- Responsible for performing formulation, processing, packaging and labeling of formulated derivative products;
- Performs validation and stability studies, analyzes data, and generates reports;
- Adheres to all waste policies for proper disposal of waste;
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the facility;
- Maintains and monitors formulation equipment and supplies throughout assigned work area in the processing facility;
- Monitors inventory and alerts management to order equipment and supplies;
- Informs management of problems with source material for formulation processing;
- Maintains knowledge of various extraction, processing and formulation techniques, including solvent extraction, non-solvent extraction, and derivative products manufacturing techniques;
- Completes manufacturing batch records while maintaining good documentation practices;
- Records and monitors data on processing logs;
- Maintains organization, cleanliness, and safety of assigned area and equipment;
- All other job duties, as assigned.
