Harbor Pest Control is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Termite Control Service Inspector to inspect residential and commercial properties for wood-destroying organisms and conditions conducive to infestation. This position prepares reports and estimates, recommends treatment and prevention options, and delivers professional customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
Inspect homes, HOA communities, and commercial properties.
Identify termites, other wood-destroying organisms, damage, and conducive conditions.
Prepare accurate inspection reports, diagrams, estimates, and treatment recommendations.
Clearly explain findings, treatment options, and service agreements to customers.
Maintain records and comply with California Structural Pest Control Board regulations.
Coordinate inspections and services with office staff and technicians.
Follow company safety procedures and maintain assigned equipment and vehicles.
Required Qualifications:
Valid California Branch 3 Field Representative License.
Valid California driver’s license and acceptable driving record under company insurance standards.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
Effective sales, communication, and customer-service skills.
Ability to solve problems and work independently.
Basic computer and mobile-device proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous termite inspection, pest control, construction, or related sales experience.
Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction.
Familiarity with inspection software and digital reporting tools.
Physical and Work Requirements:
Ability to inspect crawl spaces, attics, roofs, and other confined or elevated areas.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
Ability to safely climb ladders and drive a company vehicle.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity to operate tools and inspection equipment.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
