Job Title: Cook – Hawaiian BBQ Fast Food Restaurant
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Cook to join our Hawaiian BBQ team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preparing quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent customer service. As a Cook, you will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure all food is served fresh and safely.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook Hawaiian BBQ menu items according to company recipes and standards.
* Grill meats, prepare rice, vegetables, and side dishes.
* Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
* Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
* Assist with food preparation, portioning, and inventory as needed.
* Properly store food and rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out).
* Work efficiently with team members during busy meal periods.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
* Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Qualifications
* Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain one, if required).
