Position Summary
The CNA/RNA provides high-quality, compassionate care to residents in our Skilled Nursing community. This position supports residents' physical, emotional, and personal care needs while promoting independence, safety, and well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Toileting
Mobility assistance
Provide excellent resident-centered care while maintaining dignity and respect.
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nursing staff.
Maintain accurate documentation according to community policies and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively prioritize daily assignments and responsibilities.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in resident care and documentation.
Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Respond calmly and effectively in urgent or critical situations.
Assess and respond appropriately to medical emergencies involving residents or staff using established protocols and sound judgment.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident care standards.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and TB screening.
Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance as required by state licensing regulations.
Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
