Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
The Children's School is currently accepting applications for an energetic, motivated and experienced Early Childhood Teaching Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The open position is for assisting a lead teacher in a mixed age group (3-4yrs.) preschool classroom. We utilize an approach that is play based/project-based, with an emergent curriculum in a Reggio-inspired program.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood, Education, or Human Development with a minimum of 12 ECE units and will have some experience teaching in an early childhood classroom setting. A commitment to project-based learning, and the ability to work comfortably and collaboratively in a Toddler-Eighth Grade setting is necessary for this position.
End of August 2026-June 2027
MTTHF 8:00am- 3:30pm / W 8:00am-4:30pm / 38.5 hours a week
$23.85 per hour w/ benefits
