Property management - Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a professionally managed apartment community in Orange County, CA. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with maintenance experience who takes pride in providing quality work and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the apartment community. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Completing apartment turns (make-ready units) for new residents.
Responding to and completing resident work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Performing general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and basic appliance maintenance.
Repairing and replacing doors, locks, cabinets, windows, flooring, fixtures, and hardware.
Conducting preventative maintenance throughout the property.
Inspecting buildings, common areas, and grounds to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
Assisting with HVAC troubleshooting and minor repairs (experience preferred).
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work areas.
Following company policies and safety procedures while completing all assigned tasks.
Providing courteous and professional service to residents and fellow team members.
Qualifications
Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time
