Adecco Healthcare is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Irvine and Newport Beach, CA to hire Environmental Service Technicians. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while supporting high standards of infection prevention and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and stock patient rooms, treatment rooms, restrooms, utility rooms, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, offices, waiting areas, and other assigned areas.
Utilize approved cleaning equipment, products, and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
Remove trash and soiled linens throughout the facility.
Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and communication style at all times.
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment as trained.
Recognize and follow safety signs, symbols, and written instructions.
Provide excellent customer service while promoting a clean and safe healthcare environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to emergency and urgent situations.
Basic computer skills, including email and completion of online training modules.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
High School Diploma or GED.
Previous hospital housekeeping and/or hospitality cleaning experience.
Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, extractors, Bovac, and Roto machines
