Chateau La Jolla, a premier senior living community in la Jolla, is seeking a dependable Resident Services Driver/mail Attendant to join our team. This unique position combines resident transportation with mail, package and concierge delivery services. Primary Responsibilities
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, churches, and other scheduled destinations.
Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles, including walkers and mobility equipment.
Sort and deliver resident mail, packages, flowers, and other deliveries throughout the community.
Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to residents and guests.
Maintain accurate transportation and package delivery records.
Assist with concierge grocery shopping and deliveries as needed.
Help maintain clean company vehicles and work areas.
Work as part of a friendly, professional team dedicated to resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
Valid California driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
Previous passenger transportation, delivery services, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred.
Driver shifts: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Thursdays and Fridays
Mail Delivery shift: 4:00 pm-7:15 pm Mondays
Additional hours may be available for vacation coverage, sick leave, holidays and other staffing needs. Opportunities may include Driver, Mail Attendant, evening, overnight, and other Resident Services shifts based on training and operational needs.
