We are a friendly family practice office in need of a Front Desk Receptionist. The practice consists of 2 doctors.
Position is full-time 32 hours Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri with occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and set up new patient accounts
Verify and update patient demographics for accuracy
Perform insurance verification, including eligibility and benefits
Obtain and verify referrals and authorizations as required
Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to scheduling or visit
Collect copays/deductible and balances

Skills:
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically and clearly with diverse patient populations
Enthusiastic personality. Proven experience in customer service or healthcare or related fields
Excellent Sales skills
Duties will mainly include interfacing with patients on the telephone, making appointments, will answer phones, schedule patients, filling, and insurance verification. Must have basic typing, computer skill is a must and phone answering skills. Have good manners with patients. Fluent in English to communicate with patients. The job candidate should feel confident speaking on the phone and interacting with patients face to face. Professional dressing. Good communication skills and attention to detail are a must.
