Role Overview
LF Audio is seeking an entry-level Electronics Assembly & Test Technician to support in-house PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and basic product testing. This is a hands-on bench role focused on quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building electronics, working with PCBs, and supporting real products from prototype through shipment.
Responsibilities
-Assembly & Soldering
-Hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components
-Fine-pitch component placement and rework
-PCB modification and repair as needed
-Assist with low-volume production builds
Testing & Quality
-Perform basic functional testing and QA checks
-Identify soldering or assembly defects
-Document issues and report failures
-Follow ESD and quality procedures
Lab Support
-Maintain clean and organized workstations
-Assist with inventory organization and prep
-Support general lab and office operations as needed
Required Qualifications
-1 years of electronics assembly or soldering experience (or equivalent hands-on training)
-Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering
-Ability to follow assembly instructions and schematics
-Familiarity with ESD practices
-Comfortable using hand tools and basic test equipment (DMM, power supply)
Preferred Qualifications
-Fine-pitch SMT rework experience
-Experience with audio or consumer electronics
-Basic functional testing or QA experience
-IPC-A-610 familiarity (formal certification not required)

-$18-$22/hr DOE
