The ISRAEL FILM FESTIVAL in Los Angeles, the largest showcase of Israeli cinema in the United States, is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive Film Festival Production Coordinator to join our Los Angeles team. This is a year-round position that supports the CEO & Executive Director, works closely with the Tel Aviv-based festival team, and plays a key role in producing one of North America's leading international film festivals. Our Production Coordinator assists with fundraising, several pre-festival events (for sponsors, filmmakers, and PR) and helping to build our extensive marketing and advertising program.
The ISRAEL FILM FESTIVAL takes place in November of each year, with a mission to proudly showcase the finest new Israeli films to share with American audiences the country’s rich culture, diverse stories, and modern Israeli life.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the planning and execution of all festival events, including screenings, premiers, galas, sponsor receptions, filmmaker events, and VIP hospitality programs.
- Provide executive and administrative support to the CEO & Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the Los Angeles office and the Tel Aviv-based team
- Coordinate filmmaker, industry guest, and VIP participation, including travel, accommodations, transportation, schedules, and on-site logistics in LA.
- Support sponsorship and fundraising efforts by researching prospective donors, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating meetings, and managing follow-up communications.
- Manage relationships with venues, vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate the development and production of festival marketing materials, invitations, program books, wrap reports, advertisements, social media content, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Assist the Tel Aviv office with film acquisition and programming logistics by communicating with filmmakers, producers, distributors, sales agents, and publicists to secure films and materials.
- Maintain accurate records, budgets, invoices, contracts, databases, and financial reports while supporting overall festival operations and administration.
- Provide hands-on operational support during festival season, troubleshoot issues in real time, and help ensure a seamless experience for audiences, sponsors, filmmakers, donors, and guests.
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional work experience in event production, film festivals, entertainment, nonprofit arts organizations, or executive administration.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively under pressure and multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of film festivals, cinema, entertainment, and the Jewish community is highly desirable.
- Experience and sensitivity working with sponsors, donors, filmmakers, talent, vendors, and VIP stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience supporting senior executives and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media, email marketing platforms (MailChimp), and website content management systems.
- Hebrew language skills are a helpful plus but not required.

Full time hours expected to be 35-40 per week
Salary will be based on experience.
