Aviation Equipment Processing is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver / Shipping Associate to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of customer and vendor materials, as well as assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory-related activities. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with company and industry requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up aerospace parts, materials, and documentation.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while meeting scheduled deadlines.
• Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify shipping paperwork, packing slips, and delivery receipts for accuracy.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and inspecting packages for damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and transportation records.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Customer Service departments.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
• Assist with inventory control, packaging, labeling, and warehouse organization as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous delivery driving, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
