ABOUT THE COMPANY
Blue Ridge Manufacturing is a specialty botanical extract and supplement manufacturer based in Vista,
California. We produce standardized botanical extracts, functional supplement inputs, and analytical
testing services for brands and research customers across the supplement and life science industries.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Lab Technician to support daily manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on production
role suited to someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable following written
procedures in a clean production environment.
This role is a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, food production,
nutraceuticals, cosmetics, brewing, warehouse operations, or laboratory support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and assist with process equipment used in botanical extraction and supplement
manufacturing.
• Follow written batch records, SOPs, and production instructions accurately.
• Weigh, measure, mix, transfer, filter, dry, package, and label materials as directed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, glassware, production areas, and work surfaces.
• Record production data including weights, lot numbers, processing times, temperatures, and
cleaning logs.
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, inspection, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Follow company procedures for quality control, safety, sanitation, and material handling.
• Report equipment issues, process deviations, or quality concerns to management promptly.
• Receive, organize, and stage raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
• Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
• Work seasonal night shifts when production demand requires, with advance notice provided.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, food production, supplements, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals,
brewing, extraction, warehouse operations, or mechanical work is preferred.
• Comfortable working with pumps, mixers, tanks, filters, ovens, dryers, scales, and related process
equipment.
• Able to follow detailed written instructions and maintain accurate production records.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently after training.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work seasonal night shifts as needed based on production demand.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience in GMP, food safety, dietary supplement manufacturing, or regulated production
environments.
• Hands-on experience with scales, pumps, mixers, filtration systems, drying equipment, or
packaging equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment setup, cleaning, or basic maintenance.
• Forklift certification, warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience.
• Basic computer skills for production records and inventory tracking.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves hands-on work in a supplement manufacturing facility. Employees work with
powders, liquids, botanical materials, cleaning agents, process equipment, and packaging materials. PPE
and safety training are provided.
Seasonal production demand may require temporary night shift work. Advance notice will be given
whenever possible.
