Position Summary
The Staging Crew Member provides logistical support for Stage Joy's home staging operations. This role assists with the transportation, installation, removal, protection, and inventory management of staging furniture, décor, and accessories at client properties throughout San Diego County.
The Staging Crew Member works closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure staging projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while protecting both Stage Joy assets and client property.

Core Responsibilities
Furniture Transportation & Handling
* Safely relocate staging furniture, décor, and accessories between the Stage Joy warehouse, transportation vehicles, and client properties.
* Properly load and unload furniture and staging inventory.
* Use appropriate lifting and moving techniques when working independently or with other crew members.
* Properly wrap, protect, and secure furniture using moving blankets, stretch wrap, and other protective materials.
* Assist with vehicle loading, unloading, and staging preparation.
Staging & Destaging Support
* Work alongside the Logistics Manager during staging and destaging projects.
* Assist with furniture placement and removal according to project requirements.
* Help move select client-owned furniture or household items when necessary to accommodate staging installations.
* Assist with furniture assembly and disassembly as needed.
Inventory & Asset Protection
* Protect Stage Joy inventory from damage during transportation, installation, and removal.
* Protect client property, flooring, walls, doors, fixtures, furnishings, and personal belongings while performing work.
* Inspect furniture and décor upon delivery and pickup for signs of damage.
* Immediately report and document any damage to Stage Joy property, staging inventory, client property, or personal belongings, regardless of severity.
* Photograph and document any damage, incident, or safety concern as soon as reasonably possible and notify the Logistics Manager immediately.
* Assist with inventory tracking and scanning using the Stage Force inventory management system.
Warehouse Operations
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
* Assist with warehouse organization and inventory placement.
* Assist with furniture assembly and disassembly.
* Dispose of packaging materials and job-related trash appropriately.
* Prepare inventory and equipment for upcoming staging projects.
Job Site Operations
* Maintain a clean and professional work environment at all client properties.
* Assist the Logistics Manager when maneuvering transportation vehicles into driveways, loading zones, and other tight spaces.
* Vacuum client properties after staging and destaging projects are completed.
* Ensure all work areas are left clean, organized, and presentation-ready.

Safety & Incident Reporting
* Follow all safety procedures and use proper lifting and moving techniques at all times.
* Immediately report all injuries, accidents, near misses, and safety concerns to the Logistics Manager, regardless of severity.
* Document any workplace injury or safety incident as soon as reasonably possible.
* Participate in safe team-lifting procedures whenever required.
* Stop work and notify the Logistics Manager immediately if an unsafe condition exists.

* Prompt reporting of accidents, damages, and injuries will not, by itself, result in termination of the contractor relationship.
* Failure to report damages, injuries, safety incidents, intentional misconduct, or repeated negligence resulting in avoidable damage to Stage Joy or client property may result in termination of the contractor relationship.

Technology Requirements
* Use the Homebase application to clock in and clock out of scheduled work assignments.
* Assist with inventory scanning through the Stage Force inventory management platform when directed by the Logistics Manager.

Physical Requirements
This position regularly requires:
* Lifting and carrying furniture and staging inventory weighing up to 75 pounds individually.
* Participating in team lifts exceeding 100 pounds.
* Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs.
* Standing and walking for extended periods.
* Working indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
* Repeated loading and unloading of furniture and décor items.
