We are a growing full-service & family-owned landscaping company looking for a Landscape Estimator/Sales and Project Manager. This full-time position is responsible for the prompt and courteous follow up of project leads/referrals and the creation and presentation of detailed landscape proposals & budgets to clients. Primary focus is on generating project takeoffs, estimates and the implementation for landscape projects. Works well with all company managers to achieve all productivity, revenue and company goals.
This individual is to work closely with the General Manager/Owner on the implementation of sold projects. Must be able to communicate with vendors, employees and clients in a clear and concise manner. The individual must also be able to work with diverse personalities in a team environment and must have a solid work ethic, and lead by example,
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent the best interest of the company at all times in a professional manor and all interactions with clients, vendors, peers, co-workers and subcontractors
Follow up with sales leads and referrals in a timely and energetic manner
Ability to read and understand job plans
Develop landscape proposals/budgets
Develop occasional landscape design for projects without job plans
Communicate and work with client and managers
Maintain a professional appearance while representing the company
Ability to coordinate bidding of multiple projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications:
Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.
10 years of professional experience in landscape estimating sales and management.
Strong verbal and writing skills
Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and ability to learn design software
Experience and knowledge with basic landscape construction practices preferred
Strong plant knowledge
The ability to work with others and multi-task
