Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift team (4:00 PM – 4:00 AM, Monday–Thursday with occasional Fridays based on business need). In this role, you'll have direct ownership of shift performance — supervising production employees and holding the line on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost. You'll be the leader on the floor when it matters most: driving output to meet production schedules, resolving issues in real time, and building a team culture where employees are engaged, accountable, and motivated to perform. What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise shift production operators to meet daily schedules, output targets, and quality standards
- Communicate daily with the Production Manager on job priorities, staffing needs, and shift performance
- Maintain Health & Safety, GMP, housekeeping, and quality standards at all times across the shift floor
- Drive operating efficiency by identifying process gaps, reducing downtime, and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner
- Initiate work notifications and manage data entry in SAP; participate in Management of Change (MOC) and incident investigations as required
- Maintain accurate shift records including production counts, machine speeds, line downtime, and all SOP-required reporting
- Coordinate high-volume work orders across departments, fostering strong cross-functional relationships to keep production moving
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and GMP standards consistently and fairly across the shift
- Supervise all aspects of personnel management including staffing, onboarding, training, performance, and corrective action
- Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability expectations for all direct reports
- Track and report shift efficiencies, rework, and production variances; communicate results directly to line teams with direction on improvement
- Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams via email and other business communication tools.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to accurately complete computer-based reporting, data entry, and production documentation in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- 3 or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5 or more years of manufacturing experience
- Hands-on manufacturing expertise with a strong understanding of production operations, workflows, and floor-level execution
- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools with the ability to apply problem-solving methodology to real production challenges
- Proven leadership ability — you drive results, influence across all levels of the organization, and aren't afraid to lead change
- Sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and deliver against deadlines even when obstacles arise
- Safety-first mindset with demonstrated ability to mentor and coach team members toward a stronger safety culture
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and other departments
- Track record of hitting production schedules and improving line efficiency
- Ability to wear respiratory protective equipment for extended periods when required

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $77,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.
