Summary:
A Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Oversee Production Operations: Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to production schedules, and achievement of quality standards.
Implement Manufacturing Strategies: Develop and implement strategies and action plans that align with the overall company objectives, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Resource Management: Effectively manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and meet production targets.
Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality control specifications and standards, conducting inspections and monitoring production processes to maintain high-quality output.
Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety guidelines and ensure compliance with legal and corporate safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to optimize performance and resolve production issues.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, monitoring expenses and resource allocation to ensure financial efficiency.
Staff Training and Development: Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve production goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Skills:
· Language – Ability to read and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
· Ability to effectively present information to top management, and/or customers.
Knowledge of ERP Systems.
Education:
Bachelor of science (B.S.) degree/Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing role with 3 years in management. Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
