Banning and Son Inc. is seeking an experienced, dependable construction professional with strong plumbing and carpentry skills. This is a position for someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
We are not looking for a helper or entry-level laborer. We need a well-rounded individual who can be given a scope of work, travel to the jobsite, and successfully complete the work while maintaining our standards for quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Perform residential and commercial remodeling work
Rough and finish plumbing installations
Framing, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks
Drywall repair, painting, tile work, and finish repairs as needed
Demolition, jobsite preparation, and cleanup
Coordinate materials and manage daily work activities
Communicate project progress with management
Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Requirements
Strong hands-on plumbing experience
Strong carpentry and general construction experience
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Ability to read and understand project scopes and plans
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Excellent attendance and dependability
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
