The Role
As a Senior Finance Manager for Public Sector Operations, you will be a vital strategic finance partner, collaborating with Public Sector Sales leadership and key teams across the organization. You'll focus on providing financial insights, shaping revenue forecasts, and facilitating informed decision-making within the Federal and SLED segments.
In a dynamic and performance-driven environment, you'll transform financial and operational data into actionable insights, support planning and execution efforts, and foster alignment amongst sales, product, and operational priorities. Success in this role hinges on your solid judgment, ownership, and influence across various stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Act as the primary financial planning and analysis partner to Public Sector Sales leadership, offering insights into performance, revenue trends, and potential risks.
Manage revenue forecasting and variance analysis, translating pipeline and bookings into an accurate financial outlook.
Lead analytics related to sales and funnels, assessing coverage, close rates, productivity, and key performance drivers throughout the segments.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations to synchronize go-to-market strategies, pricing, and revenue realization.
Create executive-ready reports and narratives that effectively communicate performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Guide team development and oversee key finance deliverables, focusing on consistency, quality, and ongoing improvement.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering, including roles that engage with leadership and executives.
Strong skills in financial modeling, analytics, and problem-solving.
Proven ability to support cross-functional business initiatives and influence key decisions.
Capability to distill complex data into clear insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in supporting sales, public sector, or go-to-market organizations.
Familiarity with revenue forecasting, funnel analytics, and performance management frameworks.
Proficiency with financial and analytics tools such as SAP, Excel, and Power BI.
Experience in mentoring or leading team members.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$132,232 - $176,310 in certain states; $138,844 - $185,124 in other states; $145,456 - $193,940 in higher-paying states.
