We are a locally owned and operated property management company based in Escondido, managing nearly 600 apartment units across 15 residential communities, along with a growing portfolio of commercial properties throughout North County San Diego.
We are seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial operations. This position will supervise approximately 10 Property Managers, oversee commercial properties, and work closely with ownership and department leaders to ensure all properties are operating efficiently and professionally.
We are looking for a strong leader who is proactive, organized, disciplined, and able to get things done without constant direction. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who follows through, communicates effectively, pays attention to detail, and helps prevent issues before they arise.
Responsibilities
•Oversee approximately 10 Property Managers across multiple apartment communities in Escondido
•Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed
•Conduct regular property walks and inspections of residential and commercial properties
•Provide coaching, support, accountability, and leadership to Property Managers
•Handle escalated tenant and resident concerns when needed
•Work closely with the maintenance department to ensure work orders and projects are completed in a timely manner
•Communicate regularly with ownership and upper management regarding property performance and operational issues
•Monitor occupancy, collections, leasing activity, and property condition
•Follow up on outstanding issues without needing reminders
•Identify potential problems early and implement solutions before they become larger issues
•Oversee commercial property operations throughout North County San Diego
•Advertise and market available commercial spaces
•Show commercial vacancies to prospective tenants
•Coordinate commercial lease renewals and tenant retention efforts
•Schedule and oversee commercial maintenance and vendor work
•Maintain strong relationships with commercial tenants
•Ensure residential and commercial properties maintain a professional appearance and operate efficiently
Qualifications
•Bilingual in English and Spanish required
•Property management supervisory experience strongly preferred
•Experience managing multiple employees and locations preferred
•Commercial property management experience is a plus
•Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
•Excellent organizational and time management abilities
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Strong attention to detail and follow-through
•Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
•Forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset
•Knowledge of AppFolio preferred
•Experience with property management software is highly desirable
