The main purpose of an Event Chef @ Harvest Kitchen is to assist in the execution of all food at events, according to the client's timeline.
REPORTS TO: CHEF CAPTAIN
REQUIRED SKILLS
-Proven experience as chef
-Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
-Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
-Experience in using a computer for cataloging recipes, email, calendar, etc.
-Ability to work in a team with a positive attitude
-Very good communication skills (both peer to peer and electronically)
-Excellent physical condition and stamina
-High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Arrive on-time in appropriate attire (HK chef coat, black pants/shoes)
-Practice good hygiene (arrive showered/clean uniform)
-Follow instructions set by Chef Captain
-Assist unloading van
-Utilize cooking equipment safely + appropriately
-Keep work station sanitized, organized and clean
-Friday and Saturday shifts
$25/hr plus % of tip pool
