Economy Restaurant Equipment & Supply Co. is a family owned and operated company that is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Installer to join our team. We provide commercial restaurant equipment, commercial design, and commercial installation services for the hospitality industry throughout the United States.
Essential Functions
In a typical day, you will be responsible for onsite Sheet Metal fabrication & installation for commercial hospitality venues. This will include stainless steel countertops, walk-in refrigeration, mechanical hoods, wall flashing, and buy-out equipment.
• 3 Plus years of commercial kitchen equipment installation or construction installation background experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, submittals and cut sheets
• TIG field welds of Stainless steel and polishing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to effectively use a tape measure & levels
• Proficiency with the use of hand tools, power tools and related power equipment
• Ability to communicate any concerns, project updates to Project Manager either verbally or written
• Ensure you all team members follow all safety regulations and PPE guidelines outline by OSHA and GC
• Forklift Certified
Like all warehouse operations, we work at a fast pace and pride ourselves on safety and accessibility. Your skills include,
• Regularly lifting and moving up to 70 pounds with assistance as well as the ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel or crawl when required
• The capability to repeat physical tasks like opening and sorting bales, crates and other containers, and storing items according to specifications
• Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, and single man lift (In house Certification available)
• Responsible for understanding and complying with company processes, procedures, and safety guidelines
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification (available on job training)
• Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass live scan & background check
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English)
